I bought this piece of junk in early2008 and from day one the CD Player only played intermittently and now it don't play at all. I wrote to RCA and ask where I could get some support for this thing and naturally there was no response. This is the last item of RCA equipment I will purchase. It's nothing but junk.
Over the years I have bought three RCA bookshelve systems and in all the CD player failed. Don't waist your money on RCA.
This player managed to play good music badly for the first few months. It even developed a taste for tapes, and chewed up many of ours. Sound quality was pathetic but at least it worked. About 4 months later, every time we were in the mood for good music it would oblige for a few seconds then get shaky, then just stop, then start again and so on. If you've seen Office Space, you've seen the printer scene. That's exactly what we're going to do with this thing.
A great little unit. I was looking for a multi disk unit and this is perfect.
This is a great product with great sound but just one thing. If I lose my remote control or it breaks, the whole system is dead in the water.
